as fear turned over to anxiety
depression comes
i am used to these waves

i am feeling better
today for so many reasons
my octopus teacher – on netflix
soothed my soul

summer is gone
as is r queen RBG
broken hearted
dying is never easy

i am so grateful to my zoom crew
reminding me nightly
i am safe – i am loved
in this global pandemic

i bought a fit bit
to force me to face
myself – sitting
since march

ignoring my peloton
buying sugary anything
all news all day
my fit bit screams move
